Palestinians and Israelis for Nonviolence (PINV) are people who believe the conflict in the Middle East and its causes are best addressed through nonviolent activism by the two peoples. Depending upon circumstances, this may be unilateral or in common. For several years, a small group of Israelis and Palestinians, who are independently active in other groups, has met to discuss nonviolent strategies and solutions . Occasionally they work together in the name of PINV, in order to engage in actions, lead trainings in nonviolent activism, or to petition Middle East leaders to seek nonviolent solutions.
PINV is open to anyone who, inspired by MK Gandhi, Martin Luther King and others, wishes to work for nonviolent change in the Middle East. This website offers some thoughtful essays on the subject. We also welcome submissions by our site visitors.
